The St. Charles Parish Tennis program is one of the largest youth sports programs provided to the community. The tennis program is built to be an introduction to the game of tennis and its rules with the intention to foster a love for the game through a fun, exciting learning environment.

The season is structured in a two-month block. The first month consists of weekly practices based on age and/or playing ability. The second month introduces a competitive environment where the participants will play for actual points, games and matches against others in the program. 

Spring Registration Information

Registration: January 1 - January 25 
Late Registration (Additional Fees): January 26 - January 28
Participants can register online here. 

Ages: 6-14
Cutoff Date: September 1

Practice begins in April. 
Match play takes place in May. 

Fall Registration Information

Registration: June 1 - June 19
Late Registration (Additional Fees): June 20 - June 21

Practice begins in October.
Match play takes place in November. 

General Information 

League Breakdown

• U8 - Red Ball Tennis is played with a larger, soft red tennis ball on a 36-foot court with a smaller net. 
• U10 - Orange Ball Tennis is played with a larger, soft orange tennis ball on a 60-foot court and traditional net. 
• U12 & U14 - Participants play regulation tennis on a full 72-foot court.
