The St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation Youth Softball program is tailored for young girls interested in combining skill development, team camaraderie and love of the game. Our softball league provides a supportive environment for players to build both their abilities and passion for the sport. 

Little League Softball Information

Registration: December 8 - December 19

Late Registration: December 20 - December 21

• Ages 9-12 
• Cutoff Date: January 1
• Athletes from St. Charles parishes who are not selected for Little League will still have the opportunity re-register and participate in the department’s 2026 Spring softball program through St. Charles Parish Parks and Recreation.
• The Little League season will tentatively start in March 2026 and run for eight weeks, with playoffs to follow and games played on Tuesday nights.

Practice begins in February. 
Games take place from March - May.
End of Season Tournament begins mid-May.

Fall Softball

Fall Softball is a developmental league geared toward young athletes eager to enhance their skills on the field. This league offers a fantastic opportunity for players to refine their abilities in a supportive and encouraging environment with an emphasis on skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship through age-appropriate guidelines.

Registration: June 1 - June 19
Late Registration (additional fees): June 20 - June 21

Fall Softball is an instructional league only and does not consist of an end of season tournament.
