The goal is to encourage an active lifestyle and to enrich the lives of senior adults in St. Charles Parish.
Activities Include:
- Bean Bag Baseball
- Bowling
- Mardi Gras Dances
- Senior Olympics
Bean Bag Baseball
One of our most popular senior activities is bean bag baseball. Our seniors get competitive tossing bean bags to drive in runs and take home the win on Wednesdays in the spring and fall at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center.
2024 Spring Season: March 6 - May 15
Games Played: Every Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Location: Edward A. Dufresne Community Center, 274 Judge Edward Dufresne Pkwy in Luling
Senior Bowling
Strike up some fun and make new friends every Monday at noon at Bowlero Kenner, located at 3640 Williams Blvd. It costs $5 to play 3 games, and the parish covers the remaining $2 cost. For more information, contact the Department of Parks and Recreation or Bowlero Kenner at (504) 443-5353.
