St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation’s family-friendly Fish Dat Rodeo is back for the fifth consecutive year and will take place on Saturday, May 10, at the Bonnet Carre’ Spillway Lower Guide Levee Boat Launch. Anglers of all ages are invited to participate in the fishing tournament, where they will strive to catch fish in the following categories: bass, bream, catfish, sac-a-lait and miscellaneous.

Registration for anglers 12 years old and under is $10, and it costs $15 for those 13 and older or boat captains.
Competition begins at safe-light with weigh-in by 1 p.m. Food and fun will follow the weigh-in as awards and door prizes will follow.
The Fish Dat Rodeo is open to all St. Charles Parish residents and legal Louisiana fishing licensed persons. A Louisiana fishing license is required for anglers 16 and older. All Louisiana fishing regulations apply.
