2019 SUMMER CAMP AND SWAMP SCHOOL INFORMATION

St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation will begin taking applications on March 11 for both its 2019 Inclusive Summer Day Camp and Swamp School.
Important dates are as followed:
INCLUSIVE SUMMER CAMP
Inclusive Summer Day Camp is scheduled to run from June 3 until July 12 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday for campers ages 5 through 14 for all campers including those with disabilities. If your child requires personal care assistant; this service must be provided by the parent(s) or guardian(s).
Regular registration will be open on March 11 until May 6 until midnight (online). Late registration will begin on May 7 until May 9 midnight (online) at a cost of $400 with a $50 late fee.
Extended Care will be provided at Lakewood and Schoeffner Only. The before and after care fee is $350 per child. The before care only fee is $175 and the after care only fee is also $175

St. Charles Parish Swamp School is scheduled to begin on June 3 at the Wetland Watchers Park. Swamp School registration opens on March 11th.
important information regarding Swamp School is as followed:
Location: Wetland Watchers Park, 1650 Lower Guide Levee Road, Norco, La. 70079
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Campers: All campers must be 8 – 12 years old.
Supplies: Each day, campers must bring:
- Bag lunch, full bottle of water and a snack
- Closed toe tennis shoes and a rain coat
- Sunscreen and bug spray (preferably applied each day before camp)
NO electronics are allowed (phones, iPods, etc.)
Payments and Fees :
- Swamp School registration is $200.00 per week
Parents/Guardians are responsible for full payment of camp registration. It is understood that Swamp School has a NO REFUND policy with regard to registration fees.
Swamp School is by a first come first serve basis. Attending swamp school in the past does not guarantee your child or his or her siblings a spot, as it is by first come first serve via online registration. Each session allows 56 campers max. Once the max is reached the camp session registration will be closed. Any questions or concerns must be directed to the Swamp School Camp's Directors.
